Our Contestable Fund has increased
from $30 000 to $50 000 for 2025.
Your club has the chance to access funding to support new initiatives, infrastructure improvements, and program expansion. Applications are due by June 30, 2025, and your Club Development Officers are available to assist you in developing your proposal.
Funding Details
- Maximum funding per club: $3,000
- Successful applicants will invoice North Golf for the amount (excluding or including GST - if registered).
- Invoices should be sent to admin@northgolf.nz.
Purpose of the Fund
This fund supports:
- New and expanded programs (e.g., She Loves Golf, Junior, All Abilities initiatives)
- Infrastructure improvements (building maintenance, course enhancements, equipment upgrades)
- Multi-year projects demonstrating success.
Funding Rollover
Funding can be extended over multiple years if previous initiatives show significant impact. Evidence of success and ongoing need is required.
Application & Reporting
- Submit your application by June 30, 2025.
- Draft applications are welcome for review beforehand. Your Club Development Officer is available to assist you with your application. Refer to contact information for Pam Sowden or David Mullan on this page.
- Successful applicants MUST send an interim report by December 10, 2025 and a final report by March 31, 2026
- Reports may be shared publicly to showcase success and inspire other clubs.

Your feedback will help shape future funding and initiatives. Include participant quotes, challenges faced, and next steps to demonstrate your project’s impact.
